This Privacy Policy explains how Peacify ("Peacify," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Peacify mobile applications (iOS and Android) and the website at peacify.org (together, the "Service"). Peacify is a sleep and meditation app offering guided breathing, color visualization, and ambient audio. By using the Service you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.
When you create an account we collect your email address, an optional display name, and a password (stored only as a one-way bcrypt hash — we never store your password in plain text).
We collect your device platform (web, iOS, or Android), app version, and browser user-agent, plus an approximate location (country, region, and city) inferred from your IP address. We do not store your raw IP address — it is converted to a one-way hash using a salt that rotates every 24 hours, so the hash cannot be used to identify or track you over time. We do not collect precise (GPS) location.
Ads are served by Google AdMob in the mobile apps and Google AdSense on the website. To serve ads, these Google services may collect your advertising identifier / device identifier, ad-interaction data, coarse (IP-based) location, and diagnostic data. Pro subscribers do not see ads.
We serve non-personalized ads. On iOS, the app does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not use the IDFA to track you across other companies' apps and websites. See "Advertising choices" below.
Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered directly on Stripe's secure checkout and are never received or stored by Peacify. We store only your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference so we can manage your entitlement.
We do not sell your personal information or your analytics data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Service:

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
You may request a copy of the data associated with your account, or request deletion, by emailing support@peacify.org. Deleting your account deletes your analytics sessions and disassociates your historical events from your identity (anonymized events may remain in aggregate counts).
If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, our legal basis for processing usage data is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Service; you may object by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data.
Peacify is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard measures including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, by notice within the app.
